Geelong Business Excellence awards 2022
The Geelong Business Excellence Awards is the oldest continuously running business awards programs in Australia. Businesses and representatives from a variety of industries and associations are part of the event. The event will take place on Thursday, 27 October 2022. Geelong Chamber of Commerce engaged Climate Society with the objective of making the event Carbon Neutral.
Climate Society has provided its digital platform to estimated the event GHG emissions as a result of the activities and products associated with the event, and provided offsetting solutions to our partner. Also an independent third-party auditor has corroborated the emissions.
Geelong Chamber of Commerce has been included in the Climate Neutral Now Program of the United Nations, and has obtained the Carbon Neutral certifications by Climate Active Australia.
